Edward C. Benzel, M.D.
Dr. Benzel is the Chairman of the Cleveland Clinic Spine Institute, the Director of the Neurological Surgery Residency Program, the Director of the Spine Surgery Fellowship Program, and Vice-Chairman of the Department of Neurological Surgery at The Cleveland Clinic Foundation. Dr. Benzel's clinical research has encompassed such issues as hydrocephalus, neonatal hemorrhage, cerebrovascular disorders, cranial trauma, critical care, brain death, microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) and spinal disorders, and has seven U.S. patents in the area of spine surgery.
Dr. Benzel is Chairman of the World Spine Society, and received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the American Academy of Neurological and Orthopedic Surgeons. He was Co-Chairman of the Editorial Review Board of the Journal of Neurosurgery (2003-2004), and has served as a reviewer for Neurosurgery, Spine, and The Spine Journal. He has published multiple textbooks in the field of spine care, including his single-authored first and second edition textbook, Biomechanics of Spine Stabilization.

Dale Dellacqua, M.D.
Dr. Dellacqua is a practicing orthopedic surgeon in Bloomington and Carmel, Indiana. He also holds a position on the volunteer medical faculty at Indiana University School of Medicine and is the upper extremity specialist for the Indiana University Department of Athletics in Bloomington. His fellowship training includes hand and microvascular surgery.
Dr. Dellacqua’s medical interests include joint replacement in the upper extremity, arthritis and orthopedic product development. He has lectured extensively on arthroplasty of the hand, wrist and elbow. He is board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and holds a Certificate of Added Qualifications Surgery of the Hand. He is a member in The American Society of the Hand and The American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons.

Lawrence H. Einhorn, M.D.
Dr. Einhorn is Distinguished Professor and Lance Armstrong Foundation Professor of Oncology at IU School of Medicine. He has been widely recognized for his success in medical oncology and the development of a curative treatment for testis cancer, the most common cancer in young men. Primarily because of his efforts and those of Dr. John P. Donohue, more than 95 percent of all patients with this disease who seek treatment at a major medical center now survive.
Dr. Einhorn has received the most prestigious awards of both the American Association for Cancer Research (Richard and Hinda Rosenthal Award) and of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (Karnofsky Award). He has also received the General Motors Kettering Award for Cancer Research and the American Cancer Society Medal of Honor.

Martin Rhys Farlow, M.D.
Dr. Farlow is Professor and Vice-Chairman for Research in the Department of Neurology at Indiana University School of Medicine, Indianapolis, Indiana. He is Co-Director of the Alzheimer's Disease Clinic at Indiana University Medical Center and Clinical Core Director of the Indiana Alzheimer's Disease Center. Dr. Farlow's publication list includes over 290 journal articles and book chapters and over 330 abstracts, primarily on the subject of Alzheimer's disease and other dementias.
Dr. Farlow is currently on the editorial board of CNS News/CNS Special Edition, Current Alzheimer Research, and Medlink, and is an ad hoc reviewer for many other journals, including Neurology, Brain, Alzheimer Disease Journal and Am. J. Geriatric Psychiatry. Dr. Farlow has been principal investigator or site principal investigator in over 90 clinical trials of agents for Alzheimer's disease, is appointed to the Indiana Governor's Task Force for Alzheimer's Disease and Related Diseases and is a member of the NIH, NIA Advisory Board for Aging and the Alzheimer Disease Management Council. A founding member of the American Society of Experimental Neurotherapeutics, Dr. Farlow is also a fellow of the American Academy of Neurology and a member of the American Geriatrics Society, the New York Academy of Sciences, the American Association for Advancement of Science, the American Neurological Association, and the Society for Neuroscience.

David Heimansohn, M.D., FACS
Dr. Heimansohn is a very active cardiac surgeon in Indianapolis, Indiana, and is a member of one of the largest private practice cardiothoracic surgical groups in the United States. He currently holds the position of Vice President of Corvasc MD’s Inc., which specializes in cardiac and thoracic surgery, as well as vascular, interventional, and cardiac transplant surgery.
His special interests include cardiac valve repair and replacement, cardiac transplantation and surgical treatment of ascending aortic aneurysms. He also has a special interest in less invasive valve repair and replacement techniques. He currently is Chief of Surgery at the St. Vincent Heart Center of Indiana, which performed approximately 1000 cardiac surgical procedures in 2008. He also serves on the board of Seton Specialty Hospital. His current research interests include less invasive valve repair and replacement techniques.

James B. Hermiller, M.D., FACC, FSCAI
Dr. Hermiller serves as the Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Labs for The Care Group, LLC, which he joined in 1992, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. He also serves as Director of the Interventional Fellowship Program at St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis, IN.
Dr. Hermiller earned an undergraduate degree from Miami University, Oxford, OH and earned a M.D. from The Ohio State School of Medicine, Columbus, Ohio. He completed an Internal Medicine Internship and Residency at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. He completed a Cardiology Fellowship at Duke University Medical Center, Durham, NC.

Isador H. Lieberman, M.D.
Dr. Lieberman currently serves as Professor of Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine, as well as a member of the Cleveland Clinic's Board of Governors. He is Director of the Minimally Invasive Surgery Center and Director of the newly established Center for Advanced Skills Training. Dr. Lieberman is recognized nationally and internationally for his contributions to minimally invasive/endoscopic spinal surgery and for his contributions to the treatment of osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures.
Dr. Lieberman also serves on the scientific advisory board of three prominent medical device manufacturers, four start-up spine companies and as the Chairman of the Multidisciplinary Patient Care Committee and Vice Chairman of the Operative Coding Committee for the North American Spine Society. He has also conceived and developed a number of spinal surgery instruments and implants and has eight issued and eight pending U.S. patents.

Keith D. Lillemoe, M.D.
Dr. Lillemoe is the Jay L. Grosfeld Professor and Chairman of the Department of Surgery at the Indiana University School of Medicine. Prior to his appointment at Indiana University , Dr. Lillemoe served as Professor of Surgery, Vice-Chairman, Deputy Director and Program Coordinator for the Surgical Residency at the Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions. He has served as Secretary, President and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Society for Surgery of the Alimentary Tract. He is the President of the Society of Clinical Surgery and has previously served as Secretary and President of the Society of University Surgeons. He currently is the Recorder for the American Surgical Association and serves on their Executive Council. Dr. Lillemoe is a Senior Director of the American Board of Surgery.
Dr. Lillemoe's research interests have ranged from basic science investigations into the pathophysiology of gallstones and other benign biliary tract disease and the clinical management of pancreatic carcinoma. He has been funded in the past by the National Institute of Health and with numerous grants from industry. His bibliography lists over 240 journal articles and 90 book chapters. He is currently the Editor of Surgery: Scientific Principles and Practice, the Associate Editor of Annals of Surgery, and serves on the editorial board of seven other major surgical journals. Dr. Lillemoe's clinical interests are in gastrointestinal and pancreaticobiliary tract surgery. He has contributed to major advances in the management of pancreatic cancer, bile duct injuries and strictures, and numerous other abdominal conditions.

Keith L. March, M.D., Ph.D., FACC
Dr. March is Professor of Medicine, Physiology and Biomedical Engineering at the Indiana University School of Medicine and Krannert Institute of Cardiology. He is the Director of the Indiana Center for Vascular Biology and Medicine, and holds the Cryptic Masons Chair in Vascular Biology and Medicine. Dr. March has published more than 55 manuscripts and edited the first book dedicated to cardiovascular gene transfer. He has served as a scientific advisor to numerous pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device companies.
Dr. March invented and patented a device called Closer, a suture-mediated closure device that is used to close the arterial hole following a heart catheterization. This device allows a patient to "walk off the table" after a catheterization without requiring prolonged bed rest. The company that developed this technology was acquired in 1999 by Abbott Vascular, an affiliate of Abbott Laboratories, for $680 million, and the Closer approach is now used in 500,000 patients worldwide annually. His research has resulted in 40 world-wide (19 U.S.) patents, with others pending.

Douglas S. Paget, M.D., FACS
Dr. Paget serves in the Office of Medical Affairs at W.L. Gore & Associates. Before joining Gore, he was a vascular surgeon in Indianapolis and a member of the executive committee of CorVasc, one of the largest cardiac, thoracic and vascular surgical practices in the United States. He served on CorVasc’s Manpower Operations Committee which allocates and coordinates vascular surgeon and interventional radiologist clinical time according to patient clinical needs and group goals. He initiated the Endovascular AAA Repair program at Methodist Hospital of Indiana and performed the first such case in Indiana in November 1999.
Dr. Paget’s medical interests include Arteriography, Endovascular Treatments, and Endovascular Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Repair. He is board certified by the American Board of General Surgery and the American Board of General Vascular Surgery.

Marisa Pratt
Mrs. Pratt is currently the Finance Lead for IHS Insight. Previously, she worked at Eli Lilly & Company for more than 17 years in various finance and treasury related positions. Most recently, Mrs. Pratt served as the Vice President of Corporate Services and Chief Financial Officer of Eli Lilly Canada, Inc. where she was a member of Eli Lilly Canada’s Senior Management team. She also served as the Director of Finance to Eli Lilly’s Product Team organization.
Mrs. Pratt is currently a member of the Board of Directors for Brighpoint Inc. and Imagine Indiana Life Sciences Academy East. She earned a Bachelor of Science of Chemical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin and an MBA from Indiana University.

Eric N. Prystowsky, M.D.
Dr. Prystowsky is Director of the Clinical Electrophysiology Laboratory at St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis, Indiana, and a Consulting Professor of Medicine at Duke University Medical Center. In addition to coauthoring two textbooks, Dr. Prystowsky has also authored over 625 scientific manuscripts and abstracts concerning cardiac arrhythmias.
Dr. Prystowsky is past Chairman of the American Heart Association's Committee on Electrocardiography and Electrophysiology. He is past president of the Heart Rhythm Society and Vice-chair of the Heart Rhythm Foundation. He is the Chairman of the Test Writing Committee for Clinical Electrophysiology for the American Board of Internal Medicine, as well as the Editor-in-Chief of The Journal of Cardiovascular Electrophysiology. He is also on the editorial boards of 16 journals, including Circulation, Journal of the American Heart Association.

Saihari Sadanandan, M.D.
Dr. Sadanandan is an Associate Professor at Indiana University School of Medicine and an interventional cardiologist and peripheral vascular interventionalist at Krannert Institute of Cardiology where he specializes in advanced complex coronary and peripheral interventions without surgery-utilizing endovascular techniques. He is the director of the Peripheral Vascular Interventional Program at Krannert and oversees a weekly vascular clinic. His clinical interests include percutaneous revascularization of lower extremities, particularly those with critical limb ischemia, carotid stenting, renal artery stenting and all non-coronary percutaneous revascularizations. His research interests include the identification of novel markers and newer treatment strategies for acute coronary syndromes and lower extremity peripheral arterial disease. He is involved in collaborative efforts with the Center for Vascular Biology at Indiana University as well.
Dr. Sadanandan has extensive administrative and clinical research experience with acute coronary syndromes and served as the director of the coronary care unit and cardiac outcomes research group at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. He has served as the principle investigator of several national and international multi-center clinical trials and has independently obtained grants to perform clinical research in coronary artery disease.

Daniel Spitzberg, M.D., F.A.C.S.
Dr. Spitzberg is an Associate Professor of Ophthalmology with the IU School of Medicine. He specializes in Uveitis, Cataracts and Comprehensive Ophthalmology. He currently holds certifications from The American Board of Ophthalmology and the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. Spitzberg is an active member with The American Academy of Ophthalmology, The Indiana Academy of Ophthalmology, The Indianapolis Ophthalmological Society and the American Uveitis Society. He currently practices in Indianapolis, Carmel and Mooresville, Indiana.

Mark D. Stovsky, M.D., M.B.A.
Dr. Stovsky is an Associate Professor of Urologic Surgery at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland and Chief, Division of Urology at the University Hospitals Richmond Medical Center. Dr. Stovsky is also a principal with Hinsdale Partners, a privately held investment partnership, and is the Chairman of Advanced Medical Products, L.L.C., an entrepreneurial firm involved in the development of medical bioinformatics technologies and surgical equipment.
Dr Stovsky’s subspecialty interests include minimally invasive surgery, the management of urinary stone disease and the surgical and medical treatment of prostate disease.

Edward Yosowitz, M.D.
Dr. Yosowitz is an active staff member at both St. Luke's Episcopal Hospital and Methodist Hospital in Houston, Texas. He is Clinical Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Methodist Hospital and is Clinical Associate Professor at Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Yosowitz has authored numerous articles related to Obstetrics and Gynecology, and is the inventor of the "Cuff for Incompetent Cervix". He is a managing partner at The Women's Specialists of Houston.
Dr. Yosowitz is board certified by the American Board if Obstetrics/Gynecology and has received The Maimonides Award , Doctors Who Go The Extra Mile honor from the Medical Economics Magazine, and the "Super Doctor" honor from H Texas Magazine. Dr. Yosowitz has served as an advisory board member for a prominent pharmaceutical company, as well as served on the executive board and as chairman of several committees at Methodist Hospital.
